In collaboration with Maurer & Wirtz, we crafted an eye-catching online commercial (videoclip) that was simply impossible to miss. We set it to the upbeat and catchy remix of the 80s hit 'Why Tell Me Why,' originally sung by the iconic Dutch singer Anita Meyer. Our goal? To make people rush to Kruidvat and snag the brand-new Sparkling Island 4711 Remix fragrance, complete with a free bucket hat. We know that Gen Z loves to bask in nostalgia, even for things that happened before their time.
They gravitate towards cheerful and relatable music that brings back memories and good vibes. To bring this spirit to life, we created a whimsical studio setting, filled with a delightful blend of blue, pink, and yellow. This vibrant paradise was bursting with juicy fruits that tickled the senses. And of course, we made sure to infuse the characters' styling with a touch of Gen Z (TikTok) fashion, combined with nostalgic elements inspired by Anita Meyer's era.
To add an extra burst of freshness to the hit remix, we teamed up with Sterre Marith, a rising Dutch artist and fashion icon who perfectly embodies our target audience. Sterre took on a starring role in our online commercial, bringing her magnetic energy to the screen.We left no stone unturned in this campaign, from crafting the creative concept to launching a TikTok activation and devising a media strategy in collaboration with The Pool. Our goal was to reach audiences across platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, ensuring that the world of 4711 Remix would dazzle and capture hearts far and wide.
